How much is my gold worth?

We evaluate your gold in front of you based on current gold prices, checking purity, weight, and metal type. The full evaluation usually takes 30 to 45 minutes, and you receive instant cash once it's complete.

Do you buy broken or old jewelry?

Yes. We buy old and broken jewelry regardless of condition. If the piece has diamonds, we separate and evaluate the stones and the metal individually so you get a fair price for both.

Do you buy gold coins and bullion?

Yes. Since gold coins and bullion are already pure metal, evaluation is quick and you typically receive cash on the spot without the additional time needed for jewelry with stones.

Is it better to sell gold to a jewelry store or a pawn shop?

A jewelry store like European Jewelry typically offers better prices than a pawn shop and gives you the option to exchange your gold for new jewelry from our showcase, which most pawn shops can't offer.

Do I need an appointment to sell my gold?

No appointment is required. We accept walk-ins, and you can also book an appointment by phone or email if you'd prefer a scheduled time.

How do I know your evaluation is fair and transparent?

Evaluations are done in-house, in front of you, with no middlemen involved. You're shown the weight of your jewelry before any further checks, so you always know what's happening with your item at every step.

Do you buy old or broken gold jewelry?

How do you decide what my gold is worth?

We test the metal and purity, weigh it, and pay based on the current gold rate.

Can I trade my gold for new jewelry instead of cash?

Yes. We lock in the gold rate the same day you finalize the sale.

Should I clean inherited jewelry before selling it?

No. Cleaning can reduce the weight of the piece, which lowers its value.

Do you charge for appraisals?

No. Appraisals are free and carry no obligation.

Can you turn my grandmother's jewelry into something new?

Is a jewelry store better than a pawn shop for selling gold?
